Happy Christmas

A very merry time was had by all at our annual WDS Christmas Party held in the Parkview Hotel in Newtownmountkennedy. There was music and gorgeous Christmas hats designed and supplied by our very crafty Catherine Hanney. She even designed the very clever Christmas tree table centerpieces. Santa and his helpers made an entrance with gifts for all. Dancing and singing was the order of the day with so many of our community joining in. Maura Cope generously donated delicious treats such as cupcakes, mince pies and goodies. Of course there were endless cups of tea and coffee and great chat for the afternoon. Many thanks to the organizers and helpers especially, Jenny O’Reilly, Jenny Lewis, Catherine Haney, Mike Fisher, Annette Byrne, Doreen Broderick, Jen Mates and Jose Music.
